Google Analytics

3. Data Processing within the NAWT App (iOS)

Local Storage & iCloud Sync (SwiftData)
The NAWT app is designed completely "offline-first". All your workout and health data is strictly stored locally on your own device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, the app syncs your data utilizing your private Apple iCloud account space. We (Bär Solutions) never have access to your workout logs, health metrics, or cloud backups.

Apple Health Integration
With your explicit on-device permission, the app can write active workout data to your Apple Health Dashboard. This data never leaves your device's secure ecosystem and is not visible to us.

App Telemetry, Analytics & Crash Reports
To ensure app stability, track user engagement metrics, and facilitate future social features, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google Cloud / Google Ireland Limited). This allows us to log anonymized UI events (like button clicks) and error reports. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving the app and ensuring technical stability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We also utilize the anonymized, aggregated crash data explicitly provided to developers by Apple Inc.

For our business email hosting, we utilize "Google Workspace" provided by Google Ireland Limited.
